Welcome to CRM
The Acronym CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management it’s the Application used by Companies to store all the Business Data from Customers.
I’ve worked with a CRM called Clarify and after a CRM Built In-House in a major Telecom Company in Lisbon, Portugal for 6 Years from 2001 to 2006.
My Role was being one of several CRM Administrators and I had to create Users/Passwords and to assign Profiles to Users depending on their Roles and Troubleshoot issues with Users/Passwords and the CRM Application itself.
My Daily Tasks were to check the E-Mail Mailbox related to the CRM for New Users or Requests to Change Passwords and Roles and to execute Queries for Reporting from the Database by using either Oracle SQL (Structured Query Language) Queries or working directly on the Database with a SQL Editor.
The Hardware/Software that I’ve used for my Role was Hewlett Packard Workstation with Microsoft Windows 2000 Client and the Sun Microsystems Enterprise Server with the Unix Operating System Sun Solaris 8 and the Database Oracle 7.
The SQL Editor was the Quest SQL Navigator and Toad.
